Office Assistant/Receptionist

We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.
  • Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring the accuracy and validity of information
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed
  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of back-office computer systems (ERP software)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Customer Relationship Officer

The Customer Relationship Officer (CRO) will be responsible for knowing customer’s needs, wishes and dreams. He/she should be well versed in the value delivered to customers and the problems customers are trying to solve. The CRO will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and driving opportunities to successful closes. He/she must be capable of developing executive-level relationships and driving sales through opportunity planning, executive involvement and value selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulates and ‘sells’ the Verbosec story, vision, and services to colleagues and clients and proactively shares best practices with colleagues.
  • Build up (and maintain) a long-term relationship with prospects through the positioning of Verbosec as a solution provider and understanding of the prospect’s business requirements
  • Exceed sales quota – maintain forecast, pipeline and status updates in CRM
  • Nurtures strong client relationships and demonstrates an authoritative knowledge of the client and their category in order to advise in line with their strategies and to optimize revenue
  • Use cold calling and networking techniques to pursue net new business
  • Partner with peers to lead the integration of Verbosec data, solutions, and tools into our clients’ collaborative business planning and measurement processes in ways that lead to the consistent, efficient, effective utilization of customer insights to grow business results
  • Work closely with the technical services team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 1+ years of work experience in business development and IT (preferably in design and development agencies)
  • Demonstrated history of selling complex solutions
  • Know-how of Cloud solutions
  • Hunter mentality
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of prospects including C-level executives
  • Ability to work with prospects of all sizes
  • Creative ability to run own campaigns in coordination with call efforts 
  • Outstanding verbal and writing, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel


  • Good understanding of local business environments (Botswana and neighboring countries)
  • Basic understanding of global business environments
  • Being certified in sales or having completed sales training
